Welcome to my website! I’m Peter Braathen, an actor, producer, marketer and entrepreneur with a fervent passion for storytelling, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Currently, I am thrilled to be attached to several upcoming projects set to begin filming soon. My journey has taken me through various facets of the entertainment industry, including commercials, films, and print jobs across Europe and North America.
I discovered my love for acting at the tender age of 11 and have been captivated by the craft ever since. During my formative years, I immersed myself in the world of theater, joining several companies and soaking up every experience. It was here that I began to hone my skills, leading to a collection of accolades for my performances and filmmaking. Notably, I portrayed Lysander in a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Ringerike Kultursenter, a role that remains close to my heart.
After high school, I took a bold step and moved to Hollywood, California, to attend a one-year conservatory program in acting for film. This pivotal experience fueled my desire to delve deeper into my craft, prompting me to pursue further education at the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts. Renowned for its excellence, the USC acting program shaped and refined my abilities, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Theater in 2013 and a Master’s degree in 2016.
Each role I take on, whether on stage or screen, is a new adventure and a chance to bring unique stories to life. I am deeply committed to my professional growth and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and inspire. Whether through captivating performances or impactful productions, my goal is to leave a lasting impression on audiences worldwide.
